Avocado & Oatmeal Facial Clay Mask by Freeman

AHHH~~ Today marks my first day of a new school year~ I'm not really excited about it or anything, actually out of all the years that I've been in school, this year seen really hmm...how should I say... It doesn't strike to me that school is starting and suddenly. *POOF* It started~ Ya this feeling. Not too sure if you all felt this way too.

When I was back home from school removing my makeup this afternoon, I was thinking of deep cleansing my skin, and thought that I should share my thoughts about this product that I've been using quite some time~

I know~It's another clay mask again.
This is my 3rd clay mask.
If you haven't read the previous 2, click HERE and HERE

I'm not too sure why too but I seem to have this thing for clay mask/deep cleansing mask. It's probably because I always wear makeup and feel that it's always clogging my pores and my face is not clean enough after daily cleansing.

Just a disclaimer, I don't change my products often, I usually will try a product for a good month before switching it to something else.
I strongly believe that switching up products too often(less than a month) is not good for your skin.

This product states to purge pores.
For those who don't know what purge pores means, it means to deep cleanse your pores and remove all the dirt/oil/unwanted things in your pores.

I'm not too sure if this is the way to explain purge pores, if I'm wrong, please correct me in the comments section below!~

Alright!~ I believe many of you would have heard of this mask. Maybe you are planning on getting one!~ This mask is highly raved on YouTube and many blogs. Just search and you can find tons and tons of reviews and raves on it.

After reading many good reviews, mainly HERE, I've decided to get one to try it out~

Product Description,
This rich clay mask, with added Oatmeal and Vitamin E, draws out excess oils and dirt, purging clogged pores, leaving your skin clean and soft.

Although it didn't state on the packaging itself, if you go to their website, they said it is perfect for normal to oily skin~

This shouldn't come as a surprise, Since it comes as a tube form, there is a nozzle for the product to be dispensed by squeezing the tube.

PS. Sorry for the messy cap~

The product squeeze out rather thick, but I don't feel that it is thicker than the St Ives Clay Mask
Instead, I actually feel that this mask is easier to blend / apply onto the entire face without any hassle.
Actually, it is more of a creamy consistency.

Then just spread across the entire surface and leave it to dry.
It will take about 5-10mins for the mask to dry, So you don't have to worry you have to wait too long for it.
I would say it dries pretty fast!~

And there's one thing you might want to take note, DON'T apply it too near your eye area.

I've tried it a few times, I'm very sure I didn't get any product into my eyes, when I apply this mask too near to my eyes, my eyes started feeling stingy and teared because of the sting.
So you would really want to avoid the eye area and be really careful while applying.

This is how it looks like when it dries,
You will feel that your skin is tightening while having this mask on. And it might be a really obvious feeling.
I felt quite uncomfortable on my cheek area, So probably wouldn't recommend people with dry skin to use this product.

My Thoughts,
From my experience,

What I like about this product, It gives my skin a tighter feeling, leaving a firmer feeling.
Although they didn't mention on the packaging itself, but I do notice that the pores around my nose area is a little smaller every time i use this mask.
This mask also helps with removing excess oil on the skin, so for the next few days, your skin will look a little less shiny
Like what the product description mentioned, it leaves your skin, clean and soft. That's a noticeable feeling.
Another thing that I really like about this mask is it's scent. It has this milky yet refreshing scent. A little like oatmeal with yogurt, I really like the scent of it.
Just FYI, I don't know how Avocado smells like.
PS. The ST Ives one don't have a scent to it. So if you're someone who hates scented product, St Ives might be more suitable for you.
The last thing I like about his product is that it is creamy and blends very very easily onto the skin without much hassle and dries really quickly too.

What I don't like about this product, it leave a stingy feeling to the eyes, like mentioned above, leading to tearing. So if you're using this mask, you have to take note of it.

This retails for SGD$6.70 at our local Watsons and Guardian Stores.

Like mentioned above, I don't think I'll recommend this to people who has dry skin because it removes oil from face and I guess that's where the tightening feeling come from. So If you have dry skin, it will probably dry out your skin even more.

Other than that, I feel that this mask works well on people with normal-oily skin.

Share your thoughts about this mask with me on the comments section down below,
Do you like it do you not?
And what other mask you would recommend me to try out and share my thoughts with you.

till next post,
Bye!~
